Our client is the world’s leading source of commercial information and insight on businesses, enabling companies to make informed decisions. An opportunity has now arisen for a Sales Consultant / Sales Account Manager to join their team.
This is the ideal role for a B2B sales professional with experience of data sales, looking to develop their career with a global source for instant, relevant business information.
As a Sales Consultant / Sales Account Manager you will be responsible for maximising revenue from new and existing customers across a range of data solution services.
As a member of the data sales team, you will be tasked with responding to requests from clients and converting enquiries into orders wherever possible. You will also be required to actively seek out new business opportunities through identifying and contacting organisations who regularly conduct direct marketing campaigns.
Your other duties will include:
- working with other team members and the data sales leaders to initiate and carry out new business initiatives and ensuring that monthly sales targets are achieved
- maintaining regular contact with existing clients, offering advice and making recommendations when required
-Maintaining effective systems and processes to ensure that relevant information is up to date
To be considered for this position, you must have proven experience gained within a B2B (business to business) sales role. You must also have experience of selling data.
As a Sales Consultant / Sales Account Manager you must be a highly motivated self starter with excellent communication skills. Good negotiation skills are also key.
Although not essential, experience in marketing would be an advantage to your application.
