Vendor Manager / Supplier Quality Manager – Access, SQL

Our client is the world’s leading source of commercial information and insight on businesses, enabling companies to make informed decisions. An opportunity has now arisen for a Vendor Manager / Supplier Quality Manager to join their team.
This is the ideal role for a self motivated team leader with experience of data manipulation and a degree (or equivalent), looking to further their career with a leading company.
As a Vendor Manager / Supplier Quality Manager you will be tasked with managing and maintaining our client’s data vendors, ensuring they provide high quality and accurate data.
In this role you will conduct analysis work and quality checks on any returned data provided by our client’s partners to ensure it meets their quality standards. Your other duties will include:
- Co-ordinating audits of data and service providers to ensure that procedures and processes are being carried out correctly
- Proactively seeking and investigating data anomalies
- Implementing and maintaining regular quality assurance processes
- Assisting the maintenance analysts in implementing projects specifically for new data, process improvements and data cleansing
To be considered for this position, you must have:
- A degree (or equivalent) in economics or a business related subject
- Experience of managing a team
- Good computer skills including experience of data manipulation and analysis using Access and SQL
- Experience of using Excel and PowerPoint
As a Vendor Manager / Supplier Quality Manager you should have excellent verbal and written communication skills. Good presentation skills and a drive to succeed are also key.
